Cameron Mica Boyce[1] (May 28, 1999 – July 6, 2019) was an American actor. He began his career as a child actor, appearing in the 2008 films Mirrors and Eagle Eye, along with the comedy film Grown Ups (2010) and its 2013 sequel. His first starring role was on the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie (2011–2015).
Continuing to work with Disney, Boyce achieved further prominence as Carlos, one of the title characters in the musical fantasy Descendants film franchise. He appeared in all three television films from 2015 to 2019, in addition to various spin-off media. He also starred in the titular role of Jake in the second and third seasons of the Disney Junior series Jake and the Never Land Pirates (2012–2014). Boyce was featured as the lead of Disney XD comedy series Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything (2015–2017).

Phyllis Amanda Peterson (July 8, 1971–July 3, 2015) was an American actress, most known for her roles as Cindy Mancini in the 1987 film Can't Buy Me Love and Sunny Sisk on the NBC drama series A Year in the Life (1987–1988).
Peterson died at age 43 from an accidental drug overdose.[1]
Early life
[edit]Peterson was born in Greeley, Colorado,[2] the youngest of three children born to James Peterson—an ear, nose, and throat specialist—and his wife, Sylvia.[3] She had two older siblings: a sister, Anne Marie, and a brother, James Jr.[4] She was credited as Mandy Peterson at the beginning of her career; "Mandy" was how she was known to her friends and relatives.[5] She later assumed "Amanda Peterson" as her professional name.
Career
[edit]At age seven, Peterson made her stage debut as Gretl von Trapp in a University of Northern Colorado production of The Sound of Music.[4] At 11, she won a role in the musical film Annie as a dancing extra.
