Levi’s Unveils Collection of “Bob Dylan’s Favorite Garments”
The highly-anticipated Bob Dylanbiopic, A Complete Unknown, is finally set to premiere next week on December 25th, and for those who are looking for the perfect thing to wear to theaters, Levi’shas unveiled a new clothing collection inspired by the film.
Dubbed “Levi’s Vintage Clothing x A Complete Unknown,” the collection includes a jacket and pair of jeans inspired by the costumes of star — and Consequence’s Film Performer of the Year — Timothée Chalamet, modeled after real clothing Dylan wore during his early years.
The jacket, which is listed for $1,200 on Levi’s website, comes in a yellow-tanish color called “Dig Yourself Brown,” and is made of 100% leather. Those who purchase it will receive it in a special package, which will also contain sheet music for “A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall,” a replica cue card from the “Subterranean Homesick Blues” video, a movie still of Chalamet wearing the jacket,...

The only thing RIDICULOUS about this annual event is that Tony Award winner Bill Finn only does it once a year. I remember observing a session of his Music Theater class at NYU when Professor Finn had an extraordinary group of singers perform his students final exams. The unconventional Mr. Finn had instructed his class to write songs based upon unorthodox, outlandish, zany and sometimes kinky subject matter. The result was hilarious, witty, intelligent and downright entertaining. Mr. Finn is the Artistic Head of Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab, and his NYU classroom modus operandi has become an annual 'show' at this Berkshire institution. Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist William Finn (Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) narrates this fresh, fun introduction to new voices in musical theatre.
