Christopher Alvin Stapleton[1][2] (born April 15, ) is an American country singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born in Kentucky, Stapleton moved to Nashville in to study for an engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, but dropped out to pursue a career in music. Shortly after, he signed a contract with Sea Gayle Music to write and publish his music.[3]
Stapleton has co-written six number-one singles for other artists on the Hot Country Songs chart[4] including Kenny Chesney's five-week number-one "Never Wanted Nothing More", Josh Turner's "Your Man", George Strait's "Love's Gonna Make It Alright", and Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer".[5] He has been credited on albums for artists including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Taylor Swift.[6] He has co-written with Vince Gill, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow, and Ed Sheeran, among others.[7]
As a recording artist, Stapleton served as a vocalist in two bands: the bluegrass ensemble the SteelDrivers and the rock band the Jompson Brothers, before emerging as a solo act. His debut solo album, Traveller (), peaked on top of the US Billboard and received quadruple platinum

Puppeteer Chris White on playing Bluey's dad Bandit, tour bus life, and why kids are the best audience
When Chris White talks to the legions of adoring fans of the "biggest little show on Earth", the actor and puppeteer knows he'll earn instant cred when he lets them know he grew up "just up the road from Bluey".
From the theatre scene of his hometown of Toowoomba to the dizzying lights of Manhattan, White has brought Bandit, the much-loved dad of Australia's favourite four-legged family of heelers to life.
"It still blows my mind how huge Bluey is over here in the States," says White from backstage, where he's getting ready for another live performance of Bluey's Big Play theatre show.
For the next 45 minutes, White will criss-cross the stage with a large blue puppet, as he and the troupe recreate the Emmy award-winning show that has topped US streaming charts.
"That's what I do every day. Literally playing and it is amazing," he boasts.
Playing to packed audiences
Just like the TV series, the stage show is also a hit, playing to sold out crowds since opening at Madison Square Garden on its US tour.
Despite performing the show more than a hundred times in Australia, White reveals the cast me
